Great Mouse September 4, 2010

Had this mouse for 7 months. Great mouse. Two buttons on the side that are easy to use that you can program for different function for different programs. The roller also is very handy. I love this mouse. I leave the USB plug in at all times and it doesn't get in the way at all. Has a range of about 50 ft even over desks and such. Absolutely love this mouse. Would recommend it to anyone. Fits hand nicely also. Original batteries still in it. The search/select button works beautifully with Windows 7. Very handy and useful mouse.

I bought a logitech G900 mouse in 2008. It has been working perfectly. I really enjoy the feeling when I click the left or right buttons, or scroll the wheel. I think the wheel on this mouse is as good as that on G900. But the left buttons and right buttons suck. They are a kind of "hard" for click.

Basically, if you have done your research on this mouse, you'll find that it is definitely a good one. The reason why i didn't give it five stars in the sections that have four is simply because if you want a mouse that fits perfectly in your hand and and has the absolute best optical detecting(for gaming) then there are other mouse more designed for that. aside from that this mouse is really more than you can ask for.

i'll try to hit some points in the review about the mouse that others may not have mentioned

-it glides very well on surfaces with the bottom have four pads on each corner to specifically give it this feeling
-the scroll wheel actually has a left and right button just by pushing it to the left or right
-capable of running on one battery
-has a solid weight to it(with both batteries in, putting just one in can give it a slightly lighter feeling)
-can even attach the receiver to go inside the mouse to keep everything consolidated for travel(don't really use it though since its always in my macbook pro)
-clicks very easily both left and right

i can't really find anything bad about it. when i first started looking for a wireless mouse i wanted to make sure it was sensitive for gaming and could withstand enough clicking but if your a mediocre gamer this mouse will be more than enough. optical detection is superb. i game on my kitchen table and it has a cloth over it and it does great on it. it has jittered on this surface but it is a rare occurrence (like 3 times at the most i think i've seen in over a month of use)

not as big as I would have liked so a little diappointed so in other words if you want to use other mice or keyboards with it you have to upgrade all your products which in time will be done logitechs way of making money trying to please customer but still selling new products kudos to you im not too happy I have to spend more money to reuce usb usage

What I was looking for August 29, 2010

I was looking for a mouse that would work anywhere. I have only owned it about a month now but so far it is what I wanted and more. The free spinning wheel is AWESOME! I didn't install anything I just plugged the usb in and put batteries in and it was up and running. I also own the Logitech MX 5500 I actually prefer this mouse, mostly because I am not always at the computer.
Oh I thought a test for anywhere could be my hairy arm and it worked nicely not that I would ever have to use it there...
