Unlike other desk stands with a swivel base, this unit uses steel ball bearings to rotate 360 degrees. This means it can support the heaviest of notebooks in any of the incline positions and still provide smooth swiveling effortlessly.
The stand's support arm adjusts into seven incline positions elevating the viewing screen from 5-1/2 inches up to 7 inches above the desk surface. This stand is best applied when using your notebook as a desktop replacement and you have a separate keyboard for data entry. We don't recommend typing directly onto the notebook's keyboard since the stand's inclines are usually too severe for direct typing.
Two no-slip skid proof bumper pads on the top panel separate the notebook from the surface of the Swiveling Notebook Stand to create a one quarter inch air cell between them for maximum air circulation. The super quiet cooling fan is powered by a USB cable that is provided with the unit.
